Oooh! Don't have the original cutting alas, but this refers to the accusation of satanism against Mythlore by one of our crew's born-again sister (actually she'd just got freaked by some heavy metal posters on Eric Dinwoodie's wall) Eventually it led to a friend of JRR Tolkien's writing into the Mail saying how it was nonsense because Tolkien was a Christian himaself, but not before the 'Upper Room Christian Fellowship of Great Yarmouth' had said that they were quote:"Montoring this Outrage" - Damn we were dangerous in the 80's! ...it would have been nice if they could've spelled our name right though.
