Mythlore Reunion updates

Dates changed

Due to various matters arising we have had to change the dates of the two events. We are very sorry to do this, but hopefully this will give you all enough notice to change any plans you may have made.

The new dates are

17-19 July & 18-20 September

There are still a couple of places available both events. If you know of anyone who may be interested then please get them to get in touch.

Old stuff

If you have any of the old Mythlore stuff or know of its whereabouts then please let us know so we can see what we can get hold of. We really want as much of the old kit as possible.

Payments

Now it is time for the rough bit. We are getting close to the events now and we need to get a bunch of stuff in and get working on making some new bits and bobs. These things take time to order and time to make; therefore we need your money to pay for such things as soon as possible. Please see the website ( www.burntisclean.co.uk/mythbookings ) for payment options or email me if you want to send a cheque. If for any reason you have reserved a place but are now unable to make it then please let us know.

Rules and Regulations

Due to various pushes and pulls in the way the rules were going and thanks to some excellent feedback we have received from various sources we think we are finally (hmmm) there with a final set of rules. We are still willing to listen to any major criticisms so please let us know what you think. The latest and greatest version will soon be available for download from the mythlore website

That’s it

That’s about it for now, just wanted to get the new dates out as soon as I could.

It all hurts more than it used to.

So - definitely, positively, absolutely no further changes to the adventure dates - good luck re-arranging real life chaps! :)

Just a couple of status updates:

I've just finished the new orc mask sculpt today - I think you'll still recognise them when they leap out of the bushes at you...

It was quite an odd experience to be honest, as the orc was the first ever mask I made for Mythlore about 24 years ago!!! (mind you, the first sculpt took me about 3 days to do, this one took one day, but I have had a little more practice since then ;) ). I'm looking forward to 're-imagining' some other old faces for the Reunions, although I don't think I'll have time to do the entire back catalogue...this year anyway.

The tavern sign is looking good too, all cut out and carved, just have to give it a good paint job next.

I really hope everyone can make these new dates, looking forward to seeing everyone again after so many years!

Regards

Mark

I'm really disappointed that due to date changes I won't be able to make the Sept adventure with Jon and Pete.

My daughter booked her birthday 9 years ago so she has first call on the 19th Sept (which is also of course international 'Speak like a pir*te Day').

Really sorry to hear that, we all have more responsibilities these days and this is the reason the dates had to get changed.

There are a few who can't make it so we may consider running a mop up event next year if there is enough interest.

To all those who can't make, we promise to have no fun without you.
